The Barefoot Beach Club is very excited to be working with The Old Mattress Factory to put together a great pre-concert party. We just want to be clear that when we were contacted by the Mattress Factory we made it very clear up front that we were no longer associated with the local fan club. We also made it clear that a large number of the individuals that helped plan the last party are in our new club social club in Council Bluffs and we would love to work with them.

When asked if we would be willing to work with the local fan club, we told them there was no reason everyone couldn't be professional and work together. The next contact we had from the Mattress Factory was to tell us that they had met with both the Omaha and for some reason Lincoln club and they were not interested in doing any of the work to plan and put on the party. They requested some tables be saved for their clubs.

Why is this important? We want to be certain nobody gets any ideas that we pushed out the local club or tried to take over something that was previously theirs. It was 100% their idea not to participate this year. Never fear, we have some great games lined up for the event this year. We are going to have a fantastic raffle that you do not need to be present to win. We will be giving away a trip for two TBA as well as some really special items. We are currently working with the Matt to get some bands hired and we can announce that Capt. Josh from Key West will be joining us for the day. He may even have an event on Wed. night before the concert.
